Boogie Patrol

Boogie Patrol is a Blues, Funk, Soul band from Edmonton, Alberta. After creating a serious buzz on the lips of Edmontonians in the know, these diverse musicians have branched out to play more of Western Canada and are continually impressing crowds, both old and new. Showcasing the talent of Alberta's own "Rotten" Dan on harmonica and vocals and Nigel Gale on bass, Boogie Patrol brings funk back to its roots along with Japan ex-pat Yuji Ihara cranking out jaw-dropping guitar solos and Sean Grieve tickling the ivories 'til they're numb. Holding court behind the kit is Chicago-born Edmonton resident Jeff Lisk, backing the beat like nobody's business. Since their inception in 2007, Boogie Patrol have played hundreds of shows: they have headlined at North Country Fair, Pembina River Nights & the Beaumont Blues Festival (2009 & 20010), as well as Wild Oats & Notes and Sasquatch Gathering (2010). Most notable performances as of late have been opening for The Fabulous Thunderbirds (March, 2011) and the legendary Buddy Guy (May, 2011). Boogie Patrol leads to you a place of good lovin, combining mind-bending guitar, keys & harmonica solos with a rhythm section that you can't help but move 'n' groove to. These boys stay true to their name and take letting loose to a whole new level. In the words of Ric Hall, guitarist for Buddy Guy: "Boogie Patrol is off the hook! They're on fire!"

54-40 is: Neil Osborne, Brad Merritt, Matt Johnson & Dave Genn. Inspired by the punk/new music scene of Vancouver, BC, 54-40 first performed at the dawn of 1981. After 30 years, 16 releases and more than 2000 performances, the secret to 54-40's longevity is their ability to redefine and reinvent themselves - taking longtime 54-40 fans on a thrill ride, and continually picking up new young fans along the way.

Featuring an unbelievable catalogue of hit songs including Baby Ran, She La, Casual Viewin', One Gun, Ocean Pearl, Love You All, Music Man, I Go Blind, One Day In Your Life, Assoholic, Radio Luv Song, Baby Have Some Faith, Miss You, Blame Your Parents, Easy to Love, Crossing a Canyon, Since When, Nice to Luv You, and Lies to Me.

It is our intention to have two more bands for Saturday however at this moment we don't have comfirmation on these performers.

JK & the Relays

Bringin on the ska with ferocity, J.k & the Relays are hittin the scene in western Canada and takin no prisoners!  Formed by former members of Montreal's The Planet Smashers and Calgary's Mocking Shadows, J.k & The Relays brand of ska with a touch of soul is killin dancefloors and turnin heads at every show.

While still a brand new band, J.k & The Relays have a wealth of past experience to draw from and have already set the stage ablaze opening for legendary acts The Slackers, Fishbone and The English Beat.  J.k & The Relays are fast becoming an explosive force!

Sillan & Young

Smart and soulful, Sillan & Young have effortlessly been drawing in their faithful listeners with their eclectic acoustic pop, genuine songwriting and intimate performance style for five years now. Their music is deep and poetic, resonating like a good friend that always knows what to say…Led by the little blond with the big voice, Johanna Sillanpaa and co-led by guitarist Aaron Young, this accomplished quintet is rounded out with rhythm section of Kodi Hutchinson, Chris Andrew and Tyler Hornby…They're all accomplished on their respective instruments. All dedicated to their art. All oozing the passion and heart it takes to succeed in this fickle business.

Pear

PEAR heads on tour across Canada for the 2012 summer festival season with feature appearances from BC to Ontario, on country and roots stages.

PEAR was nominated for two, 2012 Association of Country Music in Alberta Awards - Fan's Choice and Group of the Year. They performed at the Awards after party, and introduced featured performers Hey Romeo.
